#ShakeHunger: Orgain proudly partners with WhyHunger to end hunger, for good.

Orgain is proud to announce our new partnership with WhyHunger, a non-profit organization working to address the root causes of hunger. Our motivation? A shared belief that nutritious food is a basic human right and that those in need should have access to quality food. Together with WhyHunger, we aim to close the nutrition gap in the U.S. created by income insecurity and to shift the current measurement of food bank success from pounds of food to quality of nutrition. This week, our founder, Dr. Andrew Abraham, along with WhyHunger’s Executive Director, Noreen Springstead, will kick off our nationwide #ShakeHunger campaign with a culinary competition in New York, NY. Four celebrity chefs will be given one challenge: to cook the most nutritious dish using four ingredients from a list of the most-needed donation items at food pantries across the country. In addition to a monetary donation to WhyHunger, Orgain has already donated over 50,000 organic nutrition shakes to food banks nationwide. And we want to give even more than that! With YOUR help, our goal is to donate up to 200,000 organic nutrition shakes to those in need. Visit Orgain.com/ShakeHunger now to take part, spread the word and help us #ShakeHunger!
