Inside Orgain

Picky Profiles: Todd D.

Here at Orgain, we take pride in how picky we are. After all, it's this very pickiness that dictates the high standard we hold our products to, for the sake of your health and ours. True, we are picky with our protein powder, just like we are picky with our ingredients ... but in what other strange ways are we picky? Today's Picky Profile brings you Todd D., Director of Special Events for Orgain. How do you contribute to Orgain's pickiness and high standards as a company and with their protein powders and products?
I am very meticulous about knowing the reason behind every ingredient in our products. I hate being left without an answer for our customers.
Why is Orgain's Protein Powder better than other brands?
Three simple reasons: taste, quality, and price. I have tasted almost every plant-based powder under the sun, and it's impossible to avoid the sandy/gritty mouth feel. Orgain Plant Protein tastes great and I actually prefer the taste to whey! It's quality is second to none. We always use organic ingredients, sugar is almost non-existent, and best of all, the blend of protein constitutes a complete amino acid profile! So our plant protein is complete! Lastly, price! Dr. Abraham is a man on a mission and believes Orgain products should be available to everyone, so where other companies operate off of big margins, Orgain products are always priced competitively against even conventional (non-organic) competitors and always lower than it's organic/natural competitors.
How do you use your Orgain Protein Powder?
I love the taste as is, so I just mix it with water.
Tell us your strangest, funniest or most embarrassing picky moments in life.
I am meticulous about the way a dishwasher needs to be loaded. It just makes sense to me and to the dishwasher! For example, no bowls on the bottom rack! It blocks the water from reaching the top rack. I don't want to drink from dirty glasses do you?
