Vegan Baked Protein Donuts

- 1 scoop Orgain Sport Protein Organic Plant-Based Powder - Vanilla
- 2 cups gluten free flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raw sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 ounces almond milk
- 1 tsp lemon juice Icing
- 1 scoop Orgain Sport Protein Organic Plant-Based Powder - Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Natural Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a donut pan with oil and set aside.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, protein powder and raw sugar in a large bowl.
- Combine milk, vanilla, oil and lemon juice in a medium bowl.
- Add your wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix until smooth.
- Place batter in a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with the tip cut and pipe into prepared donut pan. Do not overfill- donuts will rise!
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are a light golden brown. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.
- To make the icing- simply whisk the peanut butter and melted coconut oil with the protein powder.
- Put in a shallow dish and dunk tops of cooled donuts into icing.
