Orgain Gluten Free Gingerbread Waffles Recipe

Serves: Yields 4




    1. Make the syrup: mix almond milk, buttermilk, butter and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. (It will bubble up when you add this so be careful!) Set aside while you make the waffles.
    2. Preheat a waffle iron.
    3. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until incorporated. Don’t overmix.
    4. Spoon a generous amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook until firm.
    5. Drizzle with vanilla syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
