Orgain Gluten Free Gingerbread Waffles Recipe

Ingredients
WAFFLES
- 2 1/2 cups oat flour
- 1/2 cup Orgain Sweet Vanilla Bean Protein Powder
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup Orgain Lightly Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- Powdered sugar for topping
- 1/2 cup Orgain Lightly Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Make the syrup: mix almond milk, buttermilk, butter and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. (It will bubble up when you add this so be careful!) Set aside while you make the waffles.
- Preheat a waffle iron.
- Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until incorporated. Don’t overmix.
- Spoon a generous amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook until firm.
- Drizzle with vanilla syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
