Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup pitted medjool date
  • 1 1/2 cup or rolled oats
  • 1 cup of raw unsalted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons black strap molasses
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 scoops Orgain protein powder: Sweet Vanilla Bean

Instructions

Soak dates in water for 15 minutes. Add dates to a food processor (double check each date is without a pit, sometimes they miss one!) Then add all remaining ingredients into a food processor and pulse together until a sticky batter is formed. Roll into balls, place in a container and store in the freezer for 6 hours to set, and then enjoy! Store in the refrigerator and eat within 1 week or store in the freezer and eat within 2 weeks. Also I have to tell you that these molasses bites tastes like little gingerbread cookies and are SO good!
