Dairy-Free Protein Onion Dip

Get your chip together! This dairy-free protein onion dip gives any snack a boost of clean goodness. 🙌
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Organic Protein™ Plant Based Protein Powder - Natural Unsweetened
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups Vegan Sour Cream
- 1.5 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ground pepper, to taste
- chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add the onions and sauté for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
- Add a little bit of water and let it sizzle and evaporate.
- Keep stirring every couple of minutes as you add more liquid.
- After about 25 minutes the onions should be caramelized and fragrant. Allow the onions to cool.
- Mix in a medium sized bowl with sour cream, protein powder, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with sliced vegetables or your favorite baked crackers.
