Stadium HIIT Cardio

HIIT cardio style training is all the rave right now. But is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Coming from someone who used to mostly focus on low intensity, steady state cardio, I can tell you first-hand it makes a difference and will help melt that fat fast! Why do I love it so much? It’s quick and convenient, there is no equipment needed so I can do it anywhere, and it’s a great metabolism booster. HIIT style training will keep your metabolism boosted for hours after your workout, meaning you’ll be burning more calories even after you leave the gym! Who doesn’t love the sound of that? So get outside, find some stairs and power through the below cardio circuit:
- Stair sprints (sprint up, jog/walk down)
- Lateral Stair Sprint Right Side (sprint up, jog/walk down)
- Lateral Stair Sprint Left Side (sprint up, jog/walk down)
- Squat Jumps (walk down)
- Twist Jumps (walk down)
- Alternating Lateral Squats (walk down)
- Push-up into Alternating Diagonal Plank, 10 reps
- Jump Rope: 1 minute
