Carrot Fries with Vegan Protein Fry Sauce

These vegan parmesan carrot fries are a healthy alternative to satisfy any french fry craving. Serve with a fry sauce made with our Organic Protein Plant-Based Protein and give your fries a boost of clean, vegan protein!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced into 1/4 in thick ‘fries’
  • 1 tablespoon oil of your choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 scoop Orgain Organic Protein Plant-Based Protein Powder - Natrual Unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds (or almonds with skins off)
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder pinch salt
  • 1 heaping cup vegan mayo
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbs smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbs hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbs mustard

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the cashews, almonds, nutritional yeast, garlic powder and salt until very fine and combined, should be the texture of fine grated parmesan.
  2. Gently toss the carrot fries in the oil, salt and pepper, sprinkle on the vegan parmesan cheese and mix to coat before laying them out in a single layer on a silicon mat or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  3. Roast in a preheated 425F oven until tender and lightly charred, about 16-20 minutes, mixing halfway through.
  4. While carrots are roasting, mix Orgain Organic Protein Plant Based Protein Powder, vegan mayo, mustard, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, tomato ketchup, and smoked paprika in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Transfer to serving bowl to enjoy with carrot fries.
