Farmers take great care to ensure their A2 milk supply:

1

Genetic Testing

They test their herds to identify cows with A2/A2 Genetics

2

Selective Breeding

Only A2 cows are bred with one another to maintain pure A2 herds

3

Herd Segregation

A2 cows are kept separate, and their milk is processed separately

A2 Milk

A2 Milk comes from cows that produce only A2 beta-casein protein. When A2 protein is digested, it releases less of a peptide associated with digestive discomfort for some people.

Regular Milk

Most regular milk comes from cows that produce both A1 and A2 beta-casein protein. When A1 protein is digested, it may release more of a peptide associated with digestive discomfort for some people.
