Matcha Protein Donut Recipe

Serves: 12 donuts


  • 1 1/2 all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 scoops Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp tablespoon matcha powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup Orgain almond milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tsp matcha


Matcha Glaze:

  1. Start with ½ cup powdered sugar (or Swerve Confectioners Sugar Replacement for less sugar carbohydrates).
  2. Add and stir in matcha.
  3. Enjoy!
  4. Add 1-3 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon at a time and mix until you reach desired consistency.

Donut Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl, add you dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix you wet ingredients and stir until completely mixed.
  4. Combined your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and whisk until completely combined.
  5. Oil your donut pan and pour your mixture into the pan.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on the donuts and take them out when the tops are golden brown.
  7. Let them fully cool until you glaze them.
  8. Make your glaze and dip the tops of the donuts into the bowl, then enjoy!
