Healthy Indulgence Date and Banana Bites

Friday night, date night! Here's the perfect dessert to make. Dates aren't your thing? Use bananas instead.
Ingredients
- Date Bites
- 12 Deglet Noor dates, pitted
- 12 tbsp almond butter
- 2 scoops Orgain Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder
- 2 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- Banana Bites
- 3 medium bananas, sliced into 8 pieces each
- 8 tbsp almond butter
- 2 scoops Orgain Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder
- 2 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 2 tsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Date Bites
- Cut dates in half and remove pit. Lay them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Fill each date with a tablespoon of almond butter, making little sandwiches.
- Freeze for 1 hour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir until smooth and add protein powder. Mix until well incorporated.
- Drizzle chocolate over banana bites.
- Freeze for 10 minutes before enjoying.
- Banana Bites
- Lay half of the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Top each slice with 2 teaspoons of almond butter, then place another banana on top to make little sandwiches.
- Freeze for 1 hour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir until smooth and add protein powder. Mix until well incorporated.
- Drizzle chocolate over banana bites.
- Freeze for 30 minutes before enjoying.
