Healthy Indulgence Date and Banana Bites

Friday night, date night! Here's the perfect dessert to make. Dates aren't your thing? Use bananas instead.

Ingredients

    Date Bites
  • 12 Deglet Noor dates, pitted
  • 12 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 scoops Orgain Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder
  • 2 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
    Banana Bites
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced into 8 pieces each
  • 8 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 scoops Orgain Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder
  • 2 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

    Date Bites
  1. Cut dates in half and remove pit. Lay them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Fill each date with a tablespoon of almond butter, making little sandwiches.
  3. Freeze for 1 hour.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir until smooth and add protein powder. Mix until well incorporated.
  5. Drizzle chocolate over banana bites.
  6. Freeze for 10 minutes before enjoying.
    Banana Bites
  1. Lay half of the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Top each slice with 2 teaspoons of almond butter, then place another banana on top to make little sandwiches.
  3. Freeze for 1 hour.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir until smooth and add protein powder. Mix until well incorporated.
  5. Drizzle chocolate over banana bites.
  6. Freeze for 30 minutes before enjoying.
